Hello, my name is J. My deep desire toward helping people and providing a service led me to my twenty-one year career as a physical therapist. This career has provided me with a sound understanding of medical terminology, healthcare writing, healthcare materials, and both professional and audience needs. My education in healthcare administration has also given me a strong advantage in academic-based writing and research, and has allowed me to collaborate with many interdisciplinary teams to deliver professional and accurate documentation that meets industry standards.

My other passion of reading and writing set me on the path to become a professional certified proofreader and copyeditor. The combination of these skills has resulted in my ability to offer a unique edge when reviewing medical content, whether it’s research material, blog posts, personal statements, patient and continuing education material, or marketing copy.
